Ideas for Him

vday for men

Valentine’s Day is next week… say what??? Yes, ladies next week will be here before you know it!

Here are some ideas guaranteed to keep more money in the bank

Cook his favorite meal or bake his favorite sweet in your sexiest outfit. Grab everything needed to whip up something delicious in the kitchen the day before which will give you plenty of time to get yourself all dolled up. Also, make sure to be at least 75% done with the meal or baked goods by the time he arrives home from work. This way he can smell the deliciousness as soon as he steps out of the car and he can enjoy the show.   :P

Picnic! This image is from Amber & M’s engagement shoot, you can click the image to be directed to some photography inspiration for Valentine’s Day. If the weather is permitting, wrap up some goodies and surprise him with munchies at a local park or lake on his lunch break or for dinner during the sunset. You can find picnic basket’s relatively cheap at Goodwill or your local thrift stores and don’t forget to bring some bread to feed the ducks and/or swans.

Scavenger Hunt! Write out a couple of clues that will send your sweetie all over the house. You can get all dolled up and be the “prize” or you can wrap up something for him to open; either way sending him on a scavenger hunt brings back the feelings of being a kid again and  men are permanent “big kids” they will love an adventure you put together for them. Be creative with your prize. Has your man been begging you to see a certain movie, or to do a certain activity you’re not to crazy about? Like, play video game, go to the gun range, or driving range? This is the perfect time to give-in and do-it! You can purchase the tickets to the movie and wrap a bow around it at the finish line or end the hunt with a cute message tied to a Xbox controller with a promise to play for an hour.

Lap Dance! We already love turning up the jams and busting a few moves in the living-room when no one is home, so why not put together a little routine for him. Find a song that brings out your inner Beyonce, pick out an outfit that makes you feel on top of the world, clear the living room, and place a single chair in the middle of the room. As soon as you hear his car pull up and the door open start the music! You can make it funny by having some of your grandma’s clothes on over your favorite linguine or having on a couple layers or clothes and take a little be off as you go. We are 7 days away from Valentine’s Day so you have plenty of time to practice some dance moves. Check out YouTube for some inspiration
